My Review:

A gripping, thoughtful, and action-packed crime novel, this is an immersive read.

DI Angie North heads up the newly-formed Organised Crime Team while they investigate a cold case where the original team failed. The clues they uncover take them into London’s underbelly, where gangs, drugs, and brutality are common. And then they decide on a risky strategy to bring the killer to justice…

The writing was fresh and seamless, the characterisation strong, and the plot frighteningly believable. The authors brought the setting and team dynamics to life with skill. Recommended.
