Romance, suspense, and smuggling in a lovely tale with a vivid setting steeped in history.

Sweeping, elegant writing, a setting that you can lose yourself in, and a sweet romance at the core of it, this was a lovely read. With suspense to increase tension, wit to make you laugh, and characters that make you want to read into the page and hug/slap them, this is well worth a read. Recommended.
